Today I have something very special for you, in honor of Summer and my 100th post!
A Summer Giveaway!!!
I've been collecting things for this giveaway for a couple of weeks now, always picking up things here and there to include, trying to find all the best little things for your guys!!
I have never done any sort of giveaway before, so I wanted to make this one extra special. Most of these item are mainly for girls/women, but hey! If you're a guy and you win, you can give the stuff to your mom or something! No problem. :)
Here are a few things that will be included!
- Face masks (keep your skin looking great this Summer!)
- Jewelry case (it was too cute NOT to include)
- Headscarf (You can tie it onto a purse handle too!!)
- Nail polish (gotta have some)
- Jewelry (because why not???)
- Lip balm (Keep your lips smooth!)
- Sunglassses (Watch out for that Summer sun!!)
- + MORE!!!
What to do to enter for YOUR chance to win this stuff!!!
All you have to do is answer the questions below in the comments of this post. I wanted this giveaway to be open to anyone, which is why I'm having you answer in the comments, because then anyone who has an email can comment!
You may enter the giveaway with your comments until August 10th, and I will have picked the winner by August 15th!
I will then write the names of the commenters on a piece of paper, and will draw the person's name on Instagram stories, and will also announce the winner on this blog! I will NOT be picking based on answers, whoever gets picked out of the bowl wins fair and square!
Answering the questions below is how you ENTER this giveaway, not how you WIN it!
There will be one name entry for each person who comments. Commenting more than once won't get you an extra chance of winning. It's one entry per person in the comments.
If you are chosen, I will ask for an email address so that I can privately request a mailing address to send your stuff! Anything else will be explained in that email.
Without further ado, here are the questions! Enjoy and good luck!
The Questions:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Do you have a blog? If so, paste the link!
2. What is your favorite movie of all time (or one that you recommend a lot)?
3. What's your favorite book genre?
4. Do you believe in God? If so, why do you think that believing in God is the best thing that could happen to a person?
Good luck, everybody! Thanks for sticking with me for 100 posts. :)
Oh oh I wanna win this so so bad! Is it open to outside-of-USA-residents?
ReplyDeleteAlso the questions are SO fun haha ;)
1. Do you have a blog? If so, paste the link!
Whaddayaknow, yes! http://naomiblog15.blogspot.com
2. What is your favorite movie of all time (or one that you recommend a lot)?
I looooveee Pride and Prejudice 1995 to bits and pieces <3
3. What's your favorite book genre?
Historical fiction but lately I've been drawn to reading books on Christian topics and stuff too.
4. Do you believe in God? If so, why do you think that believing in God is the best thing that could happen to a person?
Yes because it provides me with deep spiritual food - with purpose, hope, joy and peace. It's the rock of my otherwise rocky life. It gives colour and flavour to a life where colour and flavour would otherwise be but an illusion.
5. What's your favorite thing that has happened so far this Summer?
Oh nice one! Going to a Christian camp was amazing!
6. What is the first thing you notice about a person?
Haha your fave question! ;) I think how cheerful they are; and their sense of humour and kindness.
7. Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength?
Depends what you cry about ;)
8. What is one thing about your childhood self that still applies to you today?
Oh boy hard question; I feel like I've changed so much. Oh one thing I feel like I've always done is comparing. I used to do it the whole time and I still find myself doing it.
9. Is there a favorite book of yours that you wish they would make a movie out of?
SO MANY.
Hahah
For example, Rilla of Ingleside
10. Are you an early bird or a night owl?
Both haha, not very good for my tired state
Thank you for your answers! They are very interesting. "Depends on what you cry about" .. that's so true. That'd probably be my answer. Or something like that. :)
DeleteI will be shipping this anywhere in the world! I've never mailed something overseas before, but with my Mom's help, I'm gonna do it. :)
Good luck!!!
Yaaah! I've only ever entered one giveaway before, but I'll go ahead and do this one just for kicks.
ReplyDeleteAnswers:
1) Yes. Two, actually! My regular blog: https://thebookwyrmblog.blogspot.com/?m=1
and my art blog: http://theartmoth.blogspot.com/?m=1
2) Lord of the Rings!
3) Fiction.
4) Yes! And because believing in God and living for him is pretty much the only thing that makes life meaningful, lol. That's kind of depressing, but I can't imagine what it would be like to go through life feeling like this is all there is and you are the only person you are alive for. Even the things you do for others would be meaningless because it would only make their lives better for maybe a few days and that doesn't even really matter if everyone just stops existing when they die.
5) Something that hasn't happened yet- my newest brother's birth!
6) Whatever part of humans I am currently studying in drawing 😂.
7) Crying is fine, sniveling is weak.
8) Being shy, I guess? That was one of the first things people noticed about me when I was little and now it's THE first thing they notice.....
9) Rilla of Ingleside or The Sillmarllion. But those are both sooooo good, they would also be sooooo easy to botch up!
10) Both, haha. I like having alone time when no one else is up.
I'm not going to read what the prizes are so that if I win, I'll be surprised, and if I lose I won't be bummed, haha. I'm sure you picked some great things, and I'm happy for whoever wins! ☺
I love your answers! Especially your unique answer for #7! And #10.... TRUE. Me exactly. :)
DeleteGood luck winning!!!!
I almost forgot about this. Thank goodness for Instagram. ;)
ReplyDelete1. Do you have a blog? If so, paste the link!
Yesss, https://writeoncordy.blogspot.com/
2. What is your favorite movie of all time (or one that you recommend a lot)?
Uhhhh, of all time? This just got serious here. Well, I don't know. How about Disney's Summer Magic. I have it on the brain right now but favorites are subject to change you know. Hahaha.
3. What's your favorite book genre?
I'm not sure I have one. I like what I like. And that can be some of one genre and some of another. I'm odd when it comes to books I enjoy.
4. Do you believe in God? If so, why do you think that believing in God is the best thing that could happen to a person?
Yes! The fact that He is there gives me purpose and peace. I have to believe there's someone who has more power than I do and is always there for me. (Because I'm a control freak. But I'm trying to quit. ;))
5. What's your favorite thing that has happened so far this Summer?
Um, took a quick weekend trip to a cabin in the mountains. It was short but ohhh so delightful!!
What caused the tears? Crying is--complicated.
My imagination. I still get carried away with myself.
9. Is there a favorite book of yours that you wish they would make a movie out of?
I don't know. I don't trust movies. I've always wished there was a good movie version of Alcott's "An Old-Fashioned Girl".
10. Are you an early bird or a night owl?
NIGHT OWL!!! :D
Thanks for the fun questions, Amaris!
Cordy:
DeleteI loved reading your answers!
I agree with your answer to #3... Take Fantasy/Sci-fi/futuristic for example. I usually don't like books from that genre, but the book I'm reading now is fantasy and I happen to like it. So, I feel you there. *shrug*
I'm also the same answer for #8. My imagination is as vivid and wacky as ever. :) :) :)
Thanks for answering! I'm glad I posted the reminder on Instagram! Good luck winning!!!!!
-Amaris
I do!
ReplyDeletehttps://chroniclesinbloom.wordpress.com
My “favorite movie” is actually a trilogy (does that count?!). The Lord of the Rings movies are my favorite. And I can’t pick my favorite out of the three!
My favorite book genre is historical fiction I guess?? I also love fantasy. ❤️
I believe in God yes. He completely transforms those who give their lives over to them, in deeper ways than we can ever fathom!
My favorite thing was growing closer to friends and attending Camp Regen!!!
Their mood, and then their hair.
It depends... kids crying because they got a little scrape playing outside I see as weakness. Grown men crying openly about the Gospel, I see as strength.
I laugh a lot! I love laughing and comedy. As a 4 month old I saw Chicken Run at the movie theater and I laughed at all the funny parts (according to my parents).
The Viking Quest series would make awesome movies.
Night Owl, but I really wish I loved getting up early.
I ❤️ you and your blog!! Here’s to another 100 posts!!!
Abbie,
DeleteYes, a trilogy certainly counts!!! I'm not one of THOSE bloggers who's like, "no no NO u can't say that". XD
Yessss I love historical fiction! <3 <3
I love your answer about crying... it's always an interesting question I like to ask, and your answer is so insightful! I shouldn't be surprised, tho. You're an insightful gal. :)
Thanks for answering the questions and good luck winning!!
